What exhibitor internet costs in Las Vegas

Every Las Vegas exhibitor eventually opens the services section of the exhibitor kit and does a double take at the internet page. This is a plain language guide to what the venue options cost, why, and what a private booth kit costs instead. Numbers below come from published exhibitor materials and are reference points, not quotes. Rates change show to show, so check your own kit.

What venues charge for exhibitor internet

At the Las Vegas Convention Center, exhibitor internet is sold through the building's contracted provider. The 2020 Cox Business exhibitor flyer for LVCC listed localized booth WiFi hotspots at $2,200 for up to 10 users, $3,200 for up to 25, $4,500 for up to 50 and $6,800 for up to 100, all based on 3 Mbps download. Mobile device convention WiFi was $79.99 for one day, $149.99 for three days and $239.99 for five days per device, purchased on site. Free guest WiFi in common areas was limited to 30 minute sessions at 384 Kbps.

Shared exhibitor WiFi for a single device is commonly quoted around $745 per show, with roughly $164 for each additional device, and dedicated wired bandwidth runs from a few thousand dollars for a small pipe to tens of thousands for 100 Mbps and up. The pattern is the same at the Venetian Expo, Mandalay Bay, Caesars Forum and Resorts World: one contracted provider, per show pricing, and a sharp jump the moment you need more than one device.

What a booth kit costs instead

A Showfloor Wireless kit is a bonded multi carrier 5G router in a case, with your own private WiFi and wired ports. The equipment is $40 per day, or $55 per day for the outdoor satellite version. Data is quoted for your show length and expected use. Delivery, setup and pickup at Las Vegas venues are included, and the same kit covers your laptops, card readers, lead scanners and a demo wall without a per device fee.

For a three day show that puts most booths under what one shared venue login costs, and the connection belongs to you rather than to forty thousand badge holders. If you also need booth audio, wireless mics, laptops or a printer, they ride on the same kit and the same delivery.

Venue drop or booth kit: how to decide

Pick the venue drop when you need a guaranteed symmetrical pipe for a broadcast grade stream, or when the show rules prohibit independent access points for your booth type. Pick the kit when you need reliable internet for a team, demos, payments and ordinary streaming, when you want one bill for the whole show instead of per device fees, or when you are exhibiting at several Las Vegas venues in a year and want the same setup every time. Plenty of booths do both: a venue drop for the one thing that must not drop, and our kit for everything else, with automatic failover between them.

Not sure which you are? Send us the show name and your booth size and we will tell you straight. We work the same halls as RF coordinators, so we know which rooms are tough and which rules actually get enforced.

Questions about exhibitor internet pricing

How much does booth internet cost at the Las Vegas Convention Center?

It depends on the show and the year, so always check your exhibitor kit. As a reference point, the 2020 Cox Business exhibitor flyer for LVCC listed a localized booth WiFi hotspot at $2,200 for up to 10 users at 3 Mbps, rising to $6,800 for up to 100 users. Shared exhibitor WiFi for a single device is commonly quoted in the $700 to $1,000 range per show, with a fee for each extra device. A Showfloor booth kit is $40 per day for the equipment plus a data package quoted for your show.

Can I bring my own internet into a Las Vegas convention center?

In most halls, yes. Exhibitors generally may use a temporary internet solution that is independent of the venue network, which is exactly what our bonded cellular kit is. A few shows restrict personal access points in their rules, so we check the exhibitor manual for your specific show before we ship, and we set the kit up so it does not interfere with the hall.

Why is venue internet so expensive?

At most convention centers the network is run by a single contracted provider, and exhibitor internet is priced as a per show service with setup, labor and exclusivity baked in. You are paying for a drop that is installed and removed every show, on infrastructure shared with every badge holder in the building.

Is a cellular kit fast enough for a booth?

For lead capture, card readers, email, video calls, demo laptops and most streaming, yes. The kit bonds several carriers at once and fails over automatically, so a congested tower on one carrier does not take your booth down. If you need a guaranteed symmetrical pipe for a broadcast grade stream, tell us and we will spec it honestly, which sometimes means a venue drop plus our kit as backup.

What does the Showfloor kit actually cost all in?

Equipment is $40 per day for the base kit or $55 per day for the outdoor satellite kit. Data is quoted separately for your show length and expected use, and delivery, setup and pickup at Las Vegas venues are included. For a typical three day show most booths land well under what a single shared venue WiFi login costs.

Build an order with the base kit and we will quote data for your show the same day.
